The 2027 Genesee County Debutante & Cotillion Ball will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2027, at St. Michael’s Conference Center
The Genesee County Community Cotillion invites eligible young ladies to apply for an enriching eight-month program focused on leadership, service, academic excellence, etiquette, confidence, cultural pride, and scholarship preparation.
Debutantes are formally presented to society at the Cotillion Ball through a traditional presentation ceremony, including choreographed presentations, waltzes, and ceremonial bows. All participants who successfully complete the program requirements will receive a scholarship.
A Cotillion Debutante is a young woman who participates in a structured program designed to help her grow academically, socially, personally, and culturally.

Through workshops, cultural events, service projects, and formal preparation, Debutantes build meaningful connections and gain skills that will support them beyond the Cotillion season.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Attendance required at one session by September 19, 2026.
Registration Deadline: September 20, 2026
Application & Requirements Due: September 30, 2026, by 11:59 PM.
Final Payment Deadline: January 15, 2027, by 11:59 PM.
Cotillion Ball: Saturday, April 3, 2027, at 4:00 PM.

Application Fee: $25, non-refundable
This fee is applied toward the total program cost.
Total program fee $1,000. Any amount of ads up to $500 will be deducted from the total amount of $1000.00.

Debutantes are also required to obtain $500 in ads for the souvenir book.
Each Debutante will be featured in the official Souvenir Book and will receive a complimentary professional photograph as part of the program.

Applicants must be high school juniors or seniors by September 2026, reside in Genesee County, Michigan, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, and plan to attend a post-secondary institution.
Yes. There is a $25 non-refundable application fee, which is applied toward the total program cost.
Yes. Enrollment is limited to ensure each Debutante receives maximum support. Applications are evaluated based on completeness and quality.
Yes. A parent or guardian must attend one mandatory parent meeting by August 8, 2026.
Applicants should submit a 2 to 3 minute video introduction. The form should collect a video link instead of a direct video upload to avoid file-size issues.
Yes. Payment options include payment in full, monthly payments, or bi-monthly payments.
Yes. Debutantes must attend at least 6 workshops during the program.
